Good beginner surf lesson

I booked a surf lesson for beginners through their website, it was pretty straightforward to sign up. The instructor was chill and made it fun, even though I wiped out a lot. Famara beach was a nice spot. Overall, a good experience for my first time trying to surf.

Surf lesson was good, slow booking

The intermediate surf coaching I got was solid. The instructor gave some really helpful pointers and I definitely felt like my technique improved over the few days. The online booking process, though, was a bit slow to confirm; it took a couple of emails to get everything sorted out. Once that was done, though, the actual lessons at Famara were great, and the equipment provided was decent. Good value for what I paid.

Loved the surf and yoga retreat!

This surf and yoga retreat was incredible! I booked the bundle and everything was so well organized. Absolutely. Most of the instructors I had spoke excellent English, plus other languages too. You won't have any trouble understanding the lessons.

Anyone know if you can stack a student discount with a multi-day booking deal for the surf camp? Trying to save some cash.

From what I remember, the multi-day discounts are usually automatic. If you have a specific code, you'd put it in at checkout. Not sure if they combine, sometimes those things are one or the other.

Nah, usually only one discount applies. I've tried with other places, and it's rare to get more than one deal at a time. The multi-day pack is usually already a good chunk off though.

I did the family pack for SUP last summer. I think it's usually for a group of 3-4, but you can always contact them directly if you have a bigger crew. Worth it for the discount though!

Anyone know about cancellations for bad weather? Like, if it's too windy for SUP, do they just reschedule or refund?

They're pretty good about it. If it's genuinely unsafe, they'll either try to reschedule you or offer a refund. I had a surf lesson cancelled once due to crazy currents and they let me pick another day or get my money back.

I think they try to reschedule first, makes sense. But yeah, if it's really bad, they won't make you go out there. Safety first.

Totally legit. Instructors are super experienced and they really focus on safety. Famara itself is a great spot for learning too, way better than some other crowded beaches. I'd pick them over Calima any day for personalized attention.
